Portable Hoppers |
| |
|
RD
portable hoppers and bins are available with or without variable-incline
belt feed conveyors and variable-rate vibratory pan feeders
and are designed to handle a variety of bulk materials in
mining, construction, demolition, aggregate, and concrete
recycling applications. Feed hoppers handle materials at rates
of 300 to 1000 tons per hour and can be used for everything
from loading trucks, barges, and rail cars to feeding crushers
and screen plants. Typically, bins and hoppers are mounted
on a wide flange beam chassis with truck axles, air brakes,
and signal lights for highway towing RD engineers will customize
designs to meet individual customer needs. |

Stationary Hoppers and Bins |
| |
RD
will custom-design and build surge, storage, and blending
bins or complete feed systems for virtually all kinds of bulk
materials, such as: sand/gravel, aggregates, coal, coke, and
slag. They can be designed from scratch or to meet your specifications
for new or existing facilities and can be furnished with a
variety of vibratory and belt feeders, or clam gate outlets.
Typical applications are quarries, power plants, and steel
mills. In quarries, surge bins are often used to temporarily
store materials coming from the primary crusher and feed them
at the proper rate into secondary and tertiary crushers. In
other applications, the bins are used for longer-term, cumulative
storage and as feed hoppers for railroad cars, trucks, boats,
and barges. RD can integrate load cells into bins for weighing
and batching systems. |
